A successful landowner has full knowledge and understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their property. Starting with the foundation: we determine soil quality, how water passes through the land, identification of potentially invasive or resident vegetation and potential diseases that may be present.

Landcare potential is the measurement of what the landowner and or residents can provide in terms of labor and supervision of landscape. How much time is available to maintain a landscape on a routine basis.

Intake also includes an analysis of the cost to build a landscape and the number of weekly hours to maintain the landscape by season. As a new landscape matures, more labor is required to maintain shrubs, trees and vegetation.

In order to assess the quality of one’s property, careful observation of the landscape over all four seasons, paying special attention to weather, water flow, prevailing winds and residential wildlife.
